Lighthouse Medical Practice - College Road SiteCollege Road has long been a training practice, being one of the first practices involved in setting up the Eastbourne Vocational Training Scheme. Five partners work from the premises; and the practice is linked to the Ian Gow Memorial Health Centre. The Partners have particular interests in palliative medicine and occupational medicine and of course training - with 3 partners trainers, three FY2 Clinical Supervisors, one becoming a trainer and one former trainer! The EMIS computer system is used and the practice is paperlight. There is a full complement of support staff and registrars have the opportunity to spend some time at the Ian Gow Health Centre. Andrew Stewart and Mike Von are the trainers here. Tim Caroe is likely to be a trainer by mid-2010 - by which time we'll probably have an updated photo of the building.
