About Eastbourne
Eastbourne has plenty to satisfy everybody. There is a large marina with those interested in sailing, the Downs are nearby for those who love walking. Eastbourne hosts the annual pre-Wimbledon ladies tennis tournament and the four day spectacular "Airbourne". There are three good golf courses in the town. Eastbourne has theatres and cinemas. If Eastbourne is not enough for you, then there are rail and road links to Brighton and further afield to London.
Eastbourne DGH has an active postgraduate medical centre.
There are regular GP management forum meetings where the GPs meet with representatives from the hospital and community trusts and the PCT.
There are monthly GP workshops.
There is an annual GP week long refresher course - "New Things" – held in October. This has been running for more than 25 years
